Imprinted concrete maintains its depth of colour and protection when resealed every three to five years, with intervals adjusted for sun and traffic exposure. Fresh tarmac should be treated sensibly in its early life—avoid tight steering and fuel spills—after which only light maintenance is usually required. Porcelain patios are straightforward to care for: the rigid bedding and appropriate grout keep edges crisp, while routine cleaning preserves slip resistance and appearance.
